These FAQs aim to address common questions and provide clarity for potential students and parents.
There isn't a specific "right" age to teach a child chess, as it depends on the individual child's interest, attention span, and cognitive development. However, many children can begin learning the basics of chess around the age of 5 or 6. At this age, they may be able to grasp the movements of the pieces and some simple strategies.
If you do not know chess, you will be at the Beginner level. If you already know chess, then we will assess where you stand and let you know which class you should opt for.
Each coaching class is 1 hour.
Yes, we do follow the curriculum for each of the levels.
Once you’ve registered, we will let you know of your class start date. Individual classes can be started immediately and group classes can happens within the first 10 days of registration or as part of a new batch, whichever is earlier.
Every Sunday there will be a tournament on online platform.
Our coaches are FIDE-rated players with extensive experience both in competitive chess and in coaching students. They have guided numerous students to championship levels and helped improve their ratings significantly.
